H.L. This album became a huge positive surprise. I didn't expect anything special looking at the simple cover artwork for the first time, but then I listened up several times when a MIERKO song appeared in the random playlist of new stuff. I guess it is because of the hypnotic, "Burzumesque" quality of stomping mid-tempo tracks like "Glimpse of a Moment" or "Fire to Purify". Also the final, epic "Last Sunset" with its "Ohs"and "Ahs" is an atmospheric masterpiece. Thumbs up! Favorite track: Fire to Purify.

This EP only lasts 30 minutes but each second is worth listening to it, especially in autumn. It spreads heavy darkness in a kind of typical Finnish manner. There is melancholy, there are melodies, there is dense atmosphere. The mixture of black and doom metal sometimes reminds me at Drudkh in terms of intensity. For several days I couldn't stop listening to that dark masterpiece! Check it, there are only killers, no fillers! H.L.
